We're currently looking to fill the following positions:
Game Programmer
Responsibilities
- Implementation of software in C++ and other languages.
- Debugging and optimization of software.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Design software systems through consultation and coordination with other programmers. Write design documentation.
- Follow group standards and best practices.
- Assist and mentor other programmers in areas of domain expertise or specialization.
- Interest in expanding knowledge of different game technologies and systems.
- Ability to define and estimate time for personal tasks as well as generate and track a schedule for those tasks.
- Receive tasks and some technical direction from the lead programmer. Gather requirements, design, write, and maintain software. Seek advice of other programmers proactively.
- Collaborate with artists and designers on the requirements and design of tools and systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3-6 years experience with a good understanding of programming languages.
- Strong aptitude in math and knowledge of computer graphics techniques.
- Strong C++ skills.
Preference to applicants with
- Shipped title experience.

Environment Artist
Responsibilities
- Provide texturing, lighting, and model placement for designed levels.
- Create game worlds using our in-house editing tools.
- Give input on level design issues and provide creative solutions.
- Work from concept art to create environments.
- Communicate with designers, programmers and other members of the art team.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of relevant development experience.
- Strong background in art or architecture.
- Understanding of how the environment affects game play.
- Experience using game level and world building tools.
- Knowledge in Photoshop, Max/Maya.
- Prior experience in level design is a plus.
- Creativity, innovation, and problem solving.
Experience/Skills
- Candidate should have at least one shipped title to their credit.
- Must be fluent in either 3ds MAX or Maya, as well as Photoshop.
- Understanding of real-time modeling and texturing constraints, and the ability to work within them.
- Ability to translate concept and reference artwork into 3d game assets, efficiently and within game engine specifications.
- Able to work within a schedule and adapt quickly to changes.
- Traditional art skills and conceptual abilities are a plus.
- Experience with real-time shaders and applications a plus.
